Online Primary School

We accept admissions from Year 2 of Key Stage 2. Numeracy and literacy are at the heart of our curriculum. Our curriculum is designed to support children’s natural curiosity and stimulate their creativity.

Our Online Primary offers an exceptional British education to pupils across the world and is a school community that has pupils and family at its heart.

Online Primary Education

Key Stage 2

At Key Stages 2, pupils study a core academic curriculum of literacy, numeracy, reading, writing, science, geography, history, Islamic studies, Qur’aan, PE, PSHE and ICT.

The curriculum incorporates our key strands, attributes of excellence and the National Curriculum of England.

Curriculum, providing a robust knowledge-rich framework to holistically develop future-forward learner values, skills, attributes and knowledge across a range of disciplines. Our teaching team scaffolds progress to a mastery learning approach, supporting pupil confidence and achievement with a balance of challenge and support. Learning is collaborative, personalised and technology-enabled. Lessons are grounded in inquiry, real-world discovery, problem-solving as well as the exploration of interesting cultural, moral environmental and global perspectives.

This creates curious, fun and wonderfully engaging lessons where all students are inquisitive, develop character and are encouraged to have, and be motivated towards high aspirations.

Hifdh-ul-Qur’an

At Read Meta online school, we are proud to facilitate Hifdh-ul-Qur’an, complete memorisation of the Holy Qur’an.

Our experienced teachers not only focus on flawless memorisation but great caution is exercised on Tajweed and Qawaid.

This is because we understand the sacredness of our Holy Book and we ensure our students follow the Arabic dialect to avoid any conflict.

Please note that Hifdh-ul-Quran is completely optional and we reserve the right to refuse a student based on their capabilities. We believe it’s essential to maintain the decorum of the Holy Qur’an.

How do online primary school lessons work?

We keep our class sizes small (no more than 20 pupils per class). We know this is hugely beneficial to our pupils’ learning experience. All of our lessons are taught live by our team of experienced primary school teachers that are there every step of the way to encourage a passion for learning.

Just like in any traditional primary school, your child will be supported by the same dedicated class teacher across all subjects. This means our teachers can really get to know you and your child, building and maintaining home school partnerships throughout the academic year.

We encourage active participation in all live lessons. We also set independent learning tasks to follow on from lessons and consolidate learning.
