Celebrating Recycling Week at Read Meta School

At Read Meta School, we believe in nurturing not only academic excellence but also a strong sense of responsibility towards our environment. This week, our community is coming together to celebrate Recycling Week — a time to reflect on how small actions can make a big difference for our planet.

During form time, tutors will be introducing students to a range of engaging activities designed to spark creativity, environmental awareness, and stewardship. These tasks encourage pupils to think about how they can reduce waste, reuse resources, and recycle in innovative ways.

Students will then take their projects home, with the chance to put their ideas into action and capture their work in pictures. These will be shared with tutors and celebrated at our upcoming Headteacher Connect, where the whole school community will recognise their efforts.

We are excited to see the thoughtful and imaginative contributions our students make during Recycling Week. By taking part, they are not only learning valuable lessons about sustainability but also becoming active participants in shaping a greener future.
